Mission:

• To develop novel techniques and tools to reduce the production costs and improve the level of automation without sacrificing the control from the artists, in order to preserve the performing art related ICHs of Southeast Asia.

• To promote knowledge exchange and dissemination between EU and Southeast Asian partners, with a view to fostering researchers and spreading knowledge.

Vision:

The project will create a fertile environment for fostering new talents in the participating Southeast Asian institutions who are expected to make long-term contributions to the computer visualisation field and to the preservation of ICH for Southeast Asia and then for the world in the long run. The project will encourage knowledge exchange and researcher mobility, promote Southeast Asian ICHs, as well as produce a roadmap for restructuring the research area and future standards in computer animation and visualisation.
